Kendal Wasps is an inclusive group of women, of varying ages (17+) and abilities. We welcome those with all experience levels to train with us, even if you've never played before. During pre-season and playing season (roughly July to April) we train every Tuesday and Thursday, 7pm till 8:30pm, and play games on Sundays. We are a competitive team and finished in a strong 3rd position in our first season competing at Championship 2 level in 2023/24.

Women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and we may be a bit biased, but rugby is the best, so come on down and give it a bash! Kendal Rugby Club is a real community hub, providing rugby for all ages, youth to senior sections. You’re never too young, or old for that matter, to give it a try.

We love a good social and will be holding a few events over the season. If you fancy giving it a try (pun intended) or coming back to rugby you are more than welcome as we have a wide range of experience across the squad.
