Mike was a former board member, for many years, and former financial director of our club. This was alongside being our long-standing sprint coach. Mike was first asked to help and work with our speedier players back in the early 90s and was still helping with a group of our junior players this present season.

Being a former sprinter himself, he became a high-level coach with Amateur Athletics and developed an in-depth knowledge of running techniques and training methods, which he enthusiastically passed on to aspiring competitors in a number of sports and at different clubs.

He will be sadly missed

He was a great asset to the club.
